BUCKNALL & BUCKNALL LIMITED

Change the plan.
Keep it clear.

A clear process for cancelling or changing a management consultancy service, including applicable cooling-off rights, work already started and changes to an agreed requirement.

Cancellation approach

Clear terms.
Fair handling.

BUCKNALL & BUCKNALL LIMITED provides defined management consultancy services covering business operations, administrative organisation, planning and project coordination.

We understand that requirements can change. This policy explains how cancellation requests are handled, including the distinction between a cancellation made before work starts, a cancellation during an applicable cooling-off period and a cancellation after work has begun.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any statutory consumer rights that apply to the relevant contract.

01 / SCOPE

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the consultancy services currently listed by BUCKNALL & BUCKNALL LIMITED, including:

  • Business Operations Consultation
  • Administrative Process Review
  • Business Planning Session
  • Operational Planning Pack
  • Project Coordination Session
  • Project Planning & Coordination Pack

The applicable cancellation position depends on the type of customer, how the contract was formed, whether a statutory cancellation right applies, whether work has started and the stage reached when cancellation is requested.

02 / REQUESTING CANCELLATION

How to cancel

Cancellation requests should be sent by email to:

Cancellation contact

Email: bucknallmanagement202601@outlook.com

Telephone: +44 7828 569513

Company: BUCKNALL & BUCKNALL LIMITED

A cancellation request should clearly state that you wish to cancel and, where possible, identify the relevant service, customer name and order or service reference.

You do not have to use particular wording where a clear statement of your decision to cancel is provided.

03 / 14 DAYS

Applicable cooling-off rights

Where a consumer enters into a qualifying service contract remotely, such as online or by telephone, statutory cancellation rights may provide a 14-day cancellation period.

The applicable period normally runs from the day after the service contract is entered into, subject to the circumstances and legal rules applying to that contract.

Consumer contract

14-day period may apply

A qualifying distance service contract may carry a statutory 14-day cancellation right.

Business customer

Contract terms apply

Where the customer is acting in the course of a business, cancellation will normally be governed by the agreed contractual terms and applicable law.

The 14-day consumer cancellation right is not automatically applicable to every customer or every contract. The legal circumstances of the particular service contract determine whether it applies.

04 / STARTING EARLY

If you ask us to start early

A consumer may ask for a service to begin during the applicable cancellation period.

Where the law requires an express request before performance starts, we will obtain that request in the appropriate form.

If the service has begun following such a request and the consumer later exercises an applicable cancellation right before the service is fully completed, the amount payable may reflect the proportion of the service supplied up to the point of cancellation, where permitted by applicable law.

If the service is fully performed during the cancellation period following the required request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may cease where the relevant legal conditions are satisfied. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

05 / BEFORE WORK STARTS

Cancellation before delivery

If a service is cancelled before work has started, the position will depend on whether the customer has a statutory cancellation right and the terms applicable to the particular contract.

Where a statutory right applies and is exercised correctly within the relevant period, we will process the cancellation and any refund required by law.

For business customers or contracts outside a statutory cooling-off right, any agreed cancellation terms will apply.

We do not intend to impose an automatic cancellation charge simply because a customer changes their mind. Any amount retained or charged will be based on the applicable contract, work already supplied and relevant legal requirements.

06 / WORK ALREADY STARTED

When work has begun

Some of our services can involve immediate consultation, document review, planning work or preparation of a written output.

If cancellation occurs after work has started, we will establish what work has actually been completed and which parts of the service have been supplied.

  • Consultation time already provided may be taken into account where legally and contractually permitted.
  • Document review already completed may be taken into account where applicable.
  • Planning or coordination work already undertaken may be relevant to the cancellation calculation.
  • Work that has not been supplied will not be treated as completed merely because the service was originally requested.
07 / OUR SERVICES

Cancellation by service type

The following explains how cancellation may interact with the current service formats.

Business Operations Consultation

Up to 30-minute remote consultation with an email summary. If the consultation has already taken place, the service may have been fully or partly supplied depending on the agreed scope.

£32.80

Administrative Process Review

Review and preparation work may begin before the final PDF summary is supplied. Any cancellation will therefore take account of the stage actually reached.

£47.50

Business Planning Session

Where the consultation has already been conducted, the session component has been supplied. Any included action-plan output will be considered separately according to the agreed scope.

£61.00

Operational Planning Pack

If planning preparation has already started, cancellation will be considered against the work completed and the applicable contractual and legal position.

£78.40

Project Coordination Session

Once the coordination session has been delivered, the session component has been supplied. Any included written summary will be handled according to the agreed scope.

£129.90

Project Planning & Coordination Pack

Cancellation during preparation will be assessed according to the stage of planning and documentation already completed.

£156.00
08 / CHANGES

Changing a requirement

If you no longer need the original service but want to request another service instead, please contact us before additional work begins.

A change may be possible where the revised requirement is clearly defined and both parties agree to the revised scope.

We will not automatically convert one service into another without confirming the revised scope and applicable terms.

09 / RESCHEDULING

Changing an agreed time

If you need to change the timing of a consultation or planning session, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where practical, we may agree an alternative time without treating the request as a cancellation.

Rescheduling remains subject to availability and the scope of the original service.

10 / OUR CANCELLATION

If we need to cancel

We may need to cancel or decline to proceed with a service in limited circumstances, such as where the agreed requirement cannot reasonably be delivered, required information is not available after reasonable attempts to obtain it, or another legitimate reason prevents delivery.

Where we cancel a service before it has been supplied, we will explain the position and provide any refund or other remedy required by the applicable contract and law.

We will not use this policy as a basis for cancelling a service without a reasonable basis or for avoiding applicable customer rights.

11 / REFUNDS

How cancellation and refunds connect

A cancellation and a refund are related but are not always the same thing. Whether a refund is due depends on the applicable contract, statutory rights, the timing of cancellation and the amount of service already supplied.

Where a refund is due, it will be handled in accordance with our Service Refund Policy and the applicable legal requirements.

Where a service has been partly supplied following a valid request to begin during an applicable cancellation period, the amount due may be adjusted to reflect the proportion of service supplied, where permitted by law.

12 / RECORDS

Cancellation records

We may retain records of cancellation requests, relevant correspondence, service status and any refund decision so that the cancellation can be handled accurately and the relevant service record can be maintained.

Information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

13 / COMPLAINTS

If you disagree with the outcome

If you believe a cancellation request has not been handled correctly, please contact us and explain the issue.

Complaints about the handling of a cancellation are dealt with under our Complaints Policy.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights that may apply to you.

14 / CONTACT

Need to cancel or change a service?

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Early notice gives us the clearest opportunity to stop work before additional consultancy activity begins.
